Each member of the team plays a signifcant role in getting your loan ready to close. Mike has been in the business for over 15 years and has become a trusted professional in the mortgage industry. Mike has built his business and reputation on helping each of his clients achieve their life-long goals, through mortgage planning.

 In addition, Mike has the pleasure of working along side his wife, Tobi, as they continue to build and grow City Creek Mortgage. They also have two children and have enjoyed raising them in the foothills of the Draper Community.

Relationship Manager/Executive Coach

 

Tobi’s specialty is creating relationships outside of the office and growing the City Creek name. She has become a mastermind in networking and bringing referrals to the business. In addition to networking outside the office she plays a large role within the office. Directing marketing and assisting with processing are only a few of the things she does around the office.

 

Tobi also spends a lot of her time working her other job of being a Mom. Spending time with her two kids, carpooling, soccer games, and so much more. She is constantly busy in or outside of the office.

Certified Mortgage Planner

Scott is a long time friend of Mike and Tobi. Former owner of Infinity Mortgage, Scott closed his business at the end of 2008 to join Mike and Tobi at City Creek. Bringing over 15 years of experience to the team and a well-seasoned staff, Scott continues to provide exceptional service to his clients.

 

In addition, Scott has his hands full outside of the office with a family of five boys. If he’s not in the office, you’ll find him spending time on the slopes, jeeping, camping, and being with his wife and kids.

Production Manager

Desiree is a seasoned professional in the mortgage business. She assists Mike and his processors with each and every file. Her knowledge and experience plays a key factor in the success of the team.

 

In addition, Desiree spends her free time hitting up the links and styling hair. She and her son enjoy time together in the suburbs of Sandy.

Processor

With the closer of Infinity Mortgage, Scott and his team joined the City Creek team late in 2008. Jodi was and continues to be vital part to Scott and his team. She is Scott’s head processor and cares for all of his files. Working side by side with Scott, she’s gained a strong knowledge of the business and the trust of his clients.

In addition, Jodi is a proud new mother of healthy baby boy. When she’s not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her two boys and husband.

  

  

  

  

      

 

 Julie Love

Production Assistant

Julie has spent years in the mortgage industry and is a key asset to the team. Julie works side by side with Mike on each and every file. Communicating and gathering vital information from borrowers, she is key to the success of each file. You will get to know Julie at the beginning of your loan process as you transition towards closing.

Outside of the office Julie spends her time with her two favorite boys, her husband and son.

 

Whitney Paulsen

Whitney has recently joined the City Creek Mortgage Team. After spending a few years away from the mortgage industry, Whitney decided to join our team as one of our processors. She works hard to make sure that each and every file closes on time.

Whitney enjoys spending time with close friends and family enjoying the local cultural arts and attractions.

 

Cheryl Kawamura

Client Communications

Cheryl is our southern girl in the office. She reminds us that Texas truly is the greatest state in America. She is a long time employee of City Creek and brings not only her experience but a wonderful personality too. She communicates with each of our borrowers as they prepare for closing. It is her bright personality that makes working with Cheryl just a joy.

In addition, Cheryl spends her time with her wonderful family doing all kinds of fun activites. She also enjoys returning home to her beloved Texas for a few weeks each and every year. There’s no place like home!

Office Manager/Marketing/Assistant

Brad joined us here at City Creek early in 2009 and has been a valuable asset to both teams. He spend years with his brother Scott at Infinity Mortgage and was a needed addition to Scott and his team as well as the City Creek Team. Managing the marketing for both teams, assisting with clients, and managing the office, Brad is the guy behind the scenes that just makes everything work.

You’ll find Brad running the streets and mountains of the wasatch front and spending his evenings at Wasatch Running. He also enjoys spending time with his wife, as they prepare to have  their first little one join their family.
